Vivoldi recognizes that users of our services provide us with information based on trust.
We recognize the enormous responsibility of your trust and are committed to protecting your privacy to the best of our ability and putting you in control.

This Privacy Policy is intended to help you understand the types of information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can update, manage, export, and delete it.

Welcome to Vivoldi.
‘Vivoldi’ (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Company’) values the privacy of its users, [and strives to comply with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. and the Personal Information Protection Act.

Through the Personal Information Handling (Processing) Policy, the Company informs you of the purpose and manner in which the Company uses the personal information provided by users and what measures are being taken to protect personal information.
This policy is effective as of July 1, 2025, and if we revise it, we will notify you through the website notice (or individual notice by signature, email, phone, SMS, etc.).
General Rules
‘Personal information’ refers to information about a living individual that allows the individual to be identified by the name, resident registration number, mobile phone number, etc. contained in the information (including information that can be easily combined with other information to identify a specific individual, even if the information alone does not allow the individual to be identified).

The Company attaches great importance to the protection of users’ personal information and complies with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. and the Personal Information Protection Act.

Through this Privacy Policy, we will inform you of the purposes for which the personal information you provide to us is being used and what measures are being taken to protect your personal information.
1. Categories of Personal Information Collected and Methods of Collection
Vivoldi collects the following categories of personal information when users access or use its services.

● Information voluntarily provided by users during account registration, service usage, customer support inquiries, or other interactions with the service

● When a Vivoldi short URL is accessed, the following information may be collected:
   - IP address
   - Date and time of access
   - Country and city information derived from the IP address
   - Internet Service Provider (ISP) information
   - Operating system (OS) information
   - Browser information
   - Device type information
   - Referrer information (traffic source)
   - User-Agent information
   - Information necessary for link analytics, service operation, security, and abuse prevention

The service is not intended for children under the age of 14. Vivoldi does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 years of age. If Vivoldi becomes aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 14 without verifiable parental or legal guardian consent, appropriate steps will be taken promptly to delete such information.

② Methods of Collecting Personal Information
● Information provided directly by users during account registration, service use, customer support requests, payment processing, event participation, or other service-related activities.
● Information collected automatically through systems and technologies used during service operation and usage.
● Information collected through affiliated services, social login providers, or payment service providers.
All services are managed through a single integrated dashboard provided by Vivoldi.
2. Purpose of collecting and using personal information
The Company utilizes the collected personal information for the following purposes.
● Providing services based on shortened URLs or post sharing and improving features through statistical research and analysis.
● To send important account-related information or payment-related notifications (SMS, E-mail, Push Message), and to send notifications for announcements and feature updates.
3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information / Procedures and Methods of Data Destruction
Vivoldi retains collected data for different periods depending on the nature of the data, how it is used within Vivoldi’s services, and the settings configured by the user.

● Certain content, such as content created or uploaded directly by users, may be deleted at any time by the user.
● Certain data generated through server logs, access logs, security logs, and service operations may be retained for a limited period before being deleted or anonymized.
● Vivoldi may retain certain information, such as service usage activity and usage frequency, for as long as the user's Vivoldi account remains active.
● Some information may be retained for longer periods when required for legitimate business purposes, legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, financial recordkeeping, or similar purposes.

When a user deletes data, Vivoldi follows established deletion procedures designed to ensure that the data is securely and permanently removed from Vivoldi systems or retained only in an anonymized form.
Vivoldi works to prevent accidental or malicious deletion of information across its services. As a result, there may be a delay between the time a user deletes information and the time copies are removed from active systems and backup systems.

Retention and Use Period of Personal Information:
● As a general rule, personal information is deleted without undue delay when a user closes their account. However, information that must be retained under applicable laws or that is necessary for dispute resolution, complaint handling, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or similar purposes may be retained for a specified period in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies.
● Information collected through the Contact Us page is generally deleted without undue delay after the inquiry has been fully processed. However, such information may be retained for a limited period when necessary for dispute resolution, service improvement, or compliance with legal obligations.
● Link click analytics and statistical data may be retained while the user's account remains active in order to provide analytics and reporting services. Following account deletion or service termination, such data may be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies.
● Link click statistics may be used for service operations, analytics reporting, abuse detection, security monitoring, and related operational purposes.

Retention of Personal Information as Required by Law:
The Company may retain certain information for the periods required under applicable laws and regulations.
● Records relating to contracts or withdrawal of subscriptions/orders: 5 years
● Records relating to payments and the supply of products or services: 5 years
● Records relating to consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years
● Records relating to advertising and promotional activities: 1 year
● Access logs and connection records: 1 year

Procedures and Methods of Personal Information Destruction:
● As a general principle, personal information is deleted without undue delay once the purpose for which it was collected has been fulfilled. Information provided for participation in Vivoldi events, promotions, or prize distribution may be transferred to a separate database after the purpose has been fulfilled and retained for a limited period in accordance with internal policies and applicable legal requirements before being permanently deleted. Personal information transferred to a separate database will not be used for purposes other than those required by law. Personal information stored in electronic form is permanently deleted using technical methods that prevent recovery or reconstruction of the records.
4. User Activity Information
The Company may use information related to user activities for service operation, statistical analysis, feature enhancement, security improvements, and the prevention of fraud, abuse, or unauthorized use.
● Recipient email addresses, subject lines, message content, and attachments of emails sent by users. (Attachments are automatically deleted by the system 30 days after transmission.)
● Recipient numbers, delivery timestamps, delivery results, and related records for MAIL, SMS, LMS, and MMS messages sent by Vivoldi for purposes such as user verification, account security, payment notifications, and service-related communications.
● Titles, message content, and attachments of push notifications sent by users. (Attachments are automatically deleted by the system 30 days after transmission.)
● Records related to purchases, payments, refunds, subscriptions, and other transactions involving products or services.
● Service usage records generated through services that utilize the Vivoldi API or integration features.

Users may review and manage their activity information through the integrated dashboard available on the Vivoldi website.
5. Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
As a general principle, the Company does not disclose users’ personal information to third parties. However, exceptions may apply in the following circumstances:
● When disclosure is required by applicable laws or regulations, or when a lawful request is made by investigative or law enforcement authorities in accordance with legally prescribed procedures.
● When disclosure is necessary for payment processing, billing, settlement, or the provision of paid services.
● When information is processed and provided in a form that does not identify any specific individual for statistical analysis, academic research, or market research purposes.
● When the user has provided prior consent to the disclosure.
● When disclosure is required under applicable laws, regulations, court orders, judicial decisions, or lawful requests from government authorities.
6. Privacy Policy Regarding Third-Party Services
Some of Vivoldi’s online tools use third-party services and public APIs. (e.g., YouTube Thumbnail Extractor)

Vivoldi’s website uses the YouTube API Services, and users are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.

7. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies
Vivoldi may use technologies such as Cookies, Web Storage, LocalStorage, and SessionStorage to provide better services to users and enhance the functionality of the website.
Cookies are used to identify users’ browsers and store their service environment, enabling personalized services. They may also be used for website traffic analysis and ad display optimization.

Additionally, we may allow third-party service providers such as Google to store or access information on users’ devices using similar technologies. The collected information is anonymized and used for statistical analysis and service improvement.
Users can refuse or delete cookie storage via their browser settings. However, some services may be restricted if cookies are disabled.
8. Data Export, Removal, and Deletion
Users may export copies of certain data stored within Vivoldi systems for backup purposes or for use with external services outside of Vivoldi.
Users may also request the deletion of specific data or content from certain Vivoldi services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
However, information that must be retained under applicable laws, or information required for dispute resolution, security purposes, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or similar legitimate purposes, may not be deleted immediately and may be retained for a limited period in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies.

10. Processing of Personal Information by Service Providers
To ensure the efficient operation and delivery of its services, the Company may entrust certain personal information processing activities to third-party service providers as follows.

- Scope of Processing: Delivery of text messages (SMS/LMS/MMS)

When entering into agreements with service providers, the Company requires appropriate safeguards and contractual obligations to ensure that personal information is processed securely and in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
If a service provider or the scope of outsourced processing changes, the Company will update and disclose such changes through this Privacy Policy in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to all services provided by Vivoldi, including URL shortening services, server deployment services, advertising and marketing services, and services offered through third-party platforms (such as advertising services).
This Privacy Policy does not apply to services that are governed by a separate privacy policy that does not incorporate or reference this Privacy Policy.

The following are not covered by this Privacy Policy:
● The privacy practices of other companies or organizations that advertise Vivoldi services.
● Services provided by third parties or individuals, including products, websites, links, or content that may incorporate Vivoldi services, be shared by users, or be linked to or from Vivoldi services.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
Vivoldi may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in applicable laws, service offerings, technology, operational requirements, or internal policies. When changes are made, the effective date and details of the changes will be announced through the Vivoldi website.
If a change materially affects users’ rights or interests, Vivoldi may provide additional notice through email, in-service notifications, or other appropriate communication methods.
