Frequently Asked Questions About Online Coupons
Is it easy to create and use online coupons for the first time?
Yes. You can create online coupons without any technical knowledge. Set the discount or benefit and expiration date, and Vivoldi generates a dedicated coupon link and QR code that you can share with customers right away.
Can franchises with multiple branches and stores manage their coupons centrally?
Yes. On the Business plan and above, you can register branches and stores and manage coupons from a single account. Start with one store and scale to multiple branches, stores, or a franchise network as your business grows.
Can I choose which branches can accept a coupon?
Yes. You can choose whether a coupon can be used at all branches in your organization or only at selected branches. Coupon availability cannot currently be restricted to individual stores.
Do I need dedicated QR scanner hardware to use QR coupons?
No. On the Business plan and above, you can register an existing smartphone or tablet as a store QR scanner. Staff can scan customers’ coupon QR codes and redeem them directly on the registered device, so there is no need to purchase dedicated QR scanner hardware.
Do store staff need a Vivoldi account or login to redeem coupons?
No. Staff using a registered store QR scanner do not need to create individual Vivoldi accounts or sign in. They can view and redeem customer coupons directly from a smartphone or tablet registered to the store.
Can coupons still be redeemed if the QR scanner isn’t available?
Yes. If the QR scanner is unavailable, staff can redeem the coupon by entering the store password configured in advance by the operator on the coupon screen on the customer’s phone.
How does Vivoldi prevent online coupons from being used more than once?
A single-use coupon cannot be used again once it has been redeemed. You can also check the coupon’s expiration date, usage limits, and redemption history to help prevent duplicate use and manage invalid coupons.
Can I integrate coupons with an online store, website, or app?
Yes. You can share a dedicated coupon link through your online store or website, and use the Coupon API to integrate coupon issuance and redemption with your existing e-commerce site, website, or app.
